The author of this book was born in the City of Benin. He attended his primary and secondary education in Benin City-Nigeria.He is a researcher both in local and international history. He is a member of The Historical Society Nigeria, and also a member of Institute for Benin Studies. He is happily married to Caroline Evbu Magnus-Osaghae.
