This book intends to shed light on various aspects of counseling that may be helpful for improving the QoL of a patient who has Diabetes Mellitus. The education programs should be combined with counseling and psychological intervention if they have to be effective. Evidence suggests that some interventions, including the introduction of blood glucose lowering medications or new insulin delivery systems, along with educational and counseling interventions designed to facilitate the development of diabetes-specific coping skills, can improve both glycemic control and QoL in patients with diabetes. The data so published may be useful for clinicalpharmacists,communitypharmacists,students,nurses,clinicians.
