MAKOTO IKEMA is Professor of International Economics at Hitotsubashi University (Graduate School of Economics). His publications include Theory of International Trade and A Theory Towards International Duopolistic Competition. He is currently President of the Japan Society of International Economics. YOSHIO INOUE is Professor of Literature and Society at Hitotsubashi University (Graduate School of Language and Society). His publications include A Biography of D.H. Lawrence (3 vols.) Murakami Haruki and 'Reminiscence' of Japan. TAMOTSU NISHIZAWA is Professor of History of Economic Thought at Hitotsubashi University (Institute of Economic Research). His publications include Economic Heretics: the Ideas and Policy of the Birmingham School. SUSUMU YAMAUCHI is Professor of European Legal History at Hitotsubashi University (Faculty of Law). His publications include A History of Legal Conception of Looting: Man,War, and Law in Medieval and Early Modern Europe and The Crusades to the North.
