Amalia Fariña Martínez (Mali) was born on January 3, 1960 in Marín (Pontevedra), but since 1986 she has lived in Castelldefels (Barcelona). She pursued a career in teaching, but the illness of her first-born son, Francisco Antonio, as soon as she was born, cut short her working life. She dedicated herself fully to the care of her son - currently deceased - and the following children who arrived: Santiago, Fernando, Alberto and Pablo, the result of her marriage to Francisco Fernando. Currently, she is already the grandmother of two grandchildren: Iago and Eyre. In December 2020, her life took another turn; She suffered a stroke that left her with some after-effects. Despite this, Amalia has not lost her enthusiasm for continuing to live and for enjoying her hobbies, including literature.
