Dr. Manal A. Abbood was born in Basrah 1974. She studied in Baghdad at the University of Technology where she completed her degrees: B.Sc. in Applied Physics 1996, M.Sc. in Laser 2003, and Ph.D. in Physics at Al-Nahrain Univ.2015. She's a Lecturer in Applied Science Dept. at present, teaching Solid State Physics, and She has many published papers.
