Stereotypes about aging are often inaccurate. In developed countries, most of older adults live independently maintaining relationships with family and friends; meanwhile, this may not be the case in developing countries where the majority of older adults do suffer the old age changes and complications leading them to be partially or even completely dependent upon others within their support network that must be ready and available to help and support them anytime.
