Mandy Schaniel is the founder and CEO of Schaniel Consulting Inc., providing leadership and business coaching to startups looking to build a culture of inclusivity, progress, and success for both business and employees. Her rise to leadership came early when she was recruited to join the executive team at ZipRecruiter as employee number nineteen. During her four-and-a-half years at ZipRecruiter, she helped lead the company to its first million-dollar month, built the company's first account management team, created a safe space for women and men to seek mentorship from growth minded leaders like herself, and led many on her teams to the next steps in their careers. The experience of being a foundational contributor to the success of ZipRecruiter led her to new opportunities. She took the lessons about culture and leadership she learned as VP of key account management and support at ZipRecruiter to her roles as SVP of client success at Accurate Background and EVP of client success at TruckersReport.com. She still applies those learnings and all that she's learned in between to her advisory roles at Intry and GoHire, and to anyone that seeks her mentorship. A truly growth-minded leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, Mandy seeks to keep spreading the knowledge she's gained with anyone looking to take the next step in their life. Mandy earned her BA in communications with an emphasis on print journalism from California State University, Fullerton, and earned her spot on the dean's list multiple times. Mandy lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. Mandy Schaniel will be donating 10 percent of all revenues from this book to various charities and institutions that seek to provide cures, a helping hand, and support for those in need including Children's Hospital of Orange County, Cancer Research Institute, Wounded Warrior Project, and more.
