This is attributed to the men and women who love this city and donate their time to service organizations that make the town vital. Marcia McCartt is a historian and genealogist. She currently lives in Monroe and is a former trustee for the Christian Waldschmidt Homestead and former chair of the advisory board to Camp Dennison Civil War Museum. She received her bachelor of arts degree in creative writing from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
