Brushstrokes on Water is Marcia L. Hurlow's sixth collection of poetry. Her first full-length collection, Anomie, won the Edges Prize at WordTech. Her poems have appeared in various journals, including Poetry, Poetry East, Poetry Northwest, Nimrod, Poetry Wales, Stand, Miramar, The Iconoclast, Hawaii Pacific Review, Malahat Review and Mudfish. She is a professor of creative writing, journalism, linguistics and TESL at Asbury University.
