This book, Any Path Will Lead You Home, is a series of stories about taking each experience in our lives, good and bad, and finding the silver lining to enriching our lives through our experiences. We all have experiences of love and ones of hate. We often have feelings of doubt, but we also can choose to follow that doubt with hope. Things happen that we often don't understand, but each lesson is a choice point for all of us. Margaret shares life stories from her experiences of spending so much time trying to be what others wanted her to be, instead of being her true self. She shares spending so much time on a path that was made and developed by someone else, a path that never took her individual needs into account. That path never seemed to work, but Margaret and most everyone she knew seemed too afraid to venture off of it onto a path that actually made much more sense. Margaret saw that when she began to trust her own way, things began to fall into place. She found more peace and better ways to be herself. She saw that she already had many of the tools to accomplish her goals and how often times she had just been inadequately instructed on how to access these tools to accomplish everything she desired for her life. She knew there had to be another way. So often in our lives there are hidden barriers and distorted beliefs that keep us stuck revolving around a particular issue no matter how much work we do and how much insight we gain. We can gain the tools to get behind these distortions, to understand them at their core and to develop effective tools to correct these hidden beliefs and therefore heal them at their core. She believes that we all can learn how to develop our strengths and gifts, to move forward toward our goals and to find a balanced life, filled with inner peace and harmony. To do this and to be effective we have to begin to turn toward ourselves in a way many of us have never done. We have to be our own first priority. Loving ourselves becomes this exquisite practice. This book became possible because Margaret was able to utilize all her life tools to be the fullest expression of herself and to find and give voice to her deepest learning. It became possible because Margaret learned to put her attention on herself and to follow her own path and to cherish the curiosity and wonder and the discoveries she made from this new vantage point.
