This book aims to bring to the center of attention the personality and activities of an important leader among Romanians in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Vasile Goldi . He distinguished himself as a defender of the oppressed peoples of the dualistic monarchy, advocating for their rights. In the fall of 1918, he supported the formation of new independent nation-states. In the subsequent years, Goldi increasingly advocated for the idea of European unity, which, in his opinion, was necessary to ensure peace in the area and guarantee the existence of the nation-states that emerged at the end of the First World War.
