Autorenporträt
Lola Egea Valera nació en Córdoba. Es hija de dos pintores de renombre, Tomás Egea y Lola Valera. Su interés por el lenguaje la llevó al estudio del inglés a través de la filología y, más tarde, del alemán, por lo que ha residido en distintas ciudades de ambos países. Anteriormente ha escrito y publicado 'Cupido divino' (2012) y 'Más madera' (2015). 'El árbol de la seda', ya en Berenice, es su tercer libro de cuentos. Al margen de su actividad como escritora, se dedica a dar clases de idiomas.
