After living in multiple countries throughout her life, she's become incredibly passionate about social issues such as climate change, feminist issues, and the Black Lives Matter movement. As a woman of color, she uses the power of her words to increase the visibility of some of society's most pressing issues. Mariajose de Jesús Castillo Cervantes Mariajose de Jesús Castillo Cervantes is 20 years old from Cancun, México and is currently studying law. She strongly believes that by informing people worldwide of the human rights violations that marginalized groups suffer, society will come closer to eradicating the challenges and sufferings they have to endure. Renata Daou Renata Daou is 21 years old from Amazonas, Brazil, and currently studies international politics and journalism at Penn State University. She's passionate about writing and migration and hopes her work will create a real impact in the world. Over the years, she has acquired experience in writing, editing, social media, and humanitarian work. Sarah Kapesa Sarah Kapesa is a 16-year-old writer from The Democratic Republic of Congo living in Madagascar. She has a passion for advocating for the rights of others, with a particular focus on gender and racial equity. Through her work, Sarah hopes to champion underrepresented communities by presenting a unique take on social issues and connecting with a broader audience.
