It's fifty years after the last of the Great Pandemics and, under the guidance of The System, society has returned to the moralistic and ordered ways of the mid twentieth century. Homely values are back, and the natural order has been restored.
To paraphrase The System,
'The man shall rule the household, and the woman shall look up to him. The man shall venture forth and bring home the credits, and shall be worshiped as the great provider he is. He shall oversee the moral development of his family, and in doing so, strengthen the core of society itself.
The woman shall support him in his task and obey his word. She shall preserve the home as a place of calm, a place where he can relax when his work is done. She will tend to all domestic tasks, leaving his mind free of trivial concerns. She will offer him emotional support, as well as seeing to his sexual needs, and she will do so in a selfless and enthusiastic manner. She will ensure that her appearance is pleasing to his eye at all times, and she will take great pride in doing so.
In other words, she shall strive to be the perfect wife to the perfect husband in the perfect home in the perfect world, and all shall be ... well ... perfect.'
Of course, nothing is ever completely perfect.
Not all wives are on board with the above concept, and for this reason The System has kindly created the training facility known as The AMR Wife Academy. The academy's training principle is based on an article entitled 'The Good Wife's Guide', which the college's benefactors discovered in an old 1950s magazine while digging around in the local library's archive section, and it seems to work quite well.
However, even the AMR Wife Academy has its limitations, and these are about to be tested by four-time offender and infamous nymphomaniac Sabrina Jackson, who has been ordered by her System nemesis, Madam Representative 105, to attend an Open Day at the establishment to see if it will help improve her attitude.
One can only admire the good Madam's optimism.
