Marie Karr Paqueo Andoy-Gladfelter, M.A. Ed obtained her Bachelor in Elementary Education from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, in 1997. She graduated cum laude and was nominated as Outstanding Student Teacher. She completed her Masters of Arts in Special Education at the same university in 2011. She is currently working as 4th Grade Reading Teacher in Orangeburg School District Three, South Carolina, U.S.A. She is also an ELA Chairperson. She was the Teacher of the Year, SY 2011-2012 and SY 2016-2017, and was the District Teacher of the Year for SY 2016-2017.
