Paul and Michele are on the verge of their third date--and quite possibly their first love-making experience together as a couple. Of course they can play it by ear and see if they like the tune. Or, as Paul wants, they can meet for coffee to talk about what lies immediately ahead and in bed, even at the risk of embarrassment, sweaty palms, and nervous laughter. This novella is unlike anything you have read. It is not a scientific study of romance nor a plea for any specific social agenda. Instead, we sit down (invisibly) with Paul and Michele for an hour or two at Starbucks and listen to them deal with some of life's most urgent, perplexing, awkward, and often funny moments. Go along for the ride. You will never forget or regret it.

Autorenporträt
Marie LaVerite is a bit of a mystery, even to her publisher. She holds a PhD in Psychology and practices in New York. She, her husband, and two children live on a small farm not far from Albany, New York. They travel frequently back to France, where Marie grew up until coming to the U.S. at 24 years old. An intensely private author, she doesn't attempt to explain or elaborate upon her work, preferring to let it speak for itself. Her ear for subtleties of interpersonal dialogue is unerring--we feel entirely present with her characters in a way that few authors have achieved. Marie LaVerite does welcome communication from her readers via her publisher at www.lexingfordpublishingllc.com.
