Autorenporträt
BARBARA MATTHEWS's career encompassed the fields of adult education and social work. It was both her experience as a Care Manager for the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging and as a full-time caregiver for her mother-in-law that motivated her to write: What to Do about Mama? Expectations and Realities of Caregiving. Barb has since written her memoirs and a family cookbook, both of which are at least a loose outgrowth of her caregiving experience. She is grateful to have been a part of this COVID-19 project. It has been a means to process a perplexing world.
