Autorenporträt
Mark Howard grew up in Topsfield, Massachusetts, where the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary is located. He studied music at Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio and English literature and art history at Bates College. He has worked as a teacher and as a classical pianist and organist for a number of years in Maine where he now lives. The Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary was a constant inspiration to him as a young person and throughout his adult life. He is a collector of books and has a great love of nature.
