Shelly White aka Poosy was a young, beautiful, innocent girl who ran to the young boys in the streets for the affection she failed to receive from her alcoholic mother at home. This led to her being impregnated twice with her son's, Mark and Rashun, by a abuser, drug dealer named Martin Brice who cared more about his money than his family. In her attempt to escape the madness of her relationship with Martin she began to engage heavily in drugs which eventually led to her negligence of her motherly duties and leaving her children to fend for themselves in the hands of a child abuser... Mark, being the younger of the two, constantly, prayed and cried to a God, who never seemed to be listening, to help him escape the insanity of a life that threaten to overcome him. Until one day it all changed... With the determination to change the circumstances of their lives, Mark stopped crying and praying, takes matters into his own hands, and goes through a maze of robbery, drug dealing, murder, and incarceration all in an desperate attempt to find "A Way Out"
Autorenporträt
The author of this book was born July 12th 1985 in Salem, Mass. Although the book is fictional, he writes from a perspective of a youth that witnesses many things he himself has witness or was subjected to in his lifetime. Having gone through the struggle of the absence of drug addicted parents, child abuse, violence, drug dealing, incarceration, and the treachery of the streets himself, while desperately trying to find "A Way Out", he now dedicates his life to shinning a light on many of the problems in the urban cities and communities with the hopes of eradicating some of the chaos and destruction and uplifting those same communities in the process. By no means does the author claim perfection in his actions but having done so much wrong in his life he now strives, with the help of God, to walk in righteousness and be a part of the solution rather than part of the problem. In doing so he, with the assistance of his family and friends, are creating companies under the banner "Simply for Love", in which he hopes will contribute to the building-up of our communities; spiritually, mentally, and financially. The author also asks for you help (you who are reading this) in making this world a better place simply by offering your prayer and meditation to the cause. Prayer works!!
