I was born in the beautiful city of Bluefields, Nicaragua in Central America. I am a wife, the mother of six children, and have been a pre-school teacher for over 30 years. I thank God for permitting me to write this new project and am very grateful He has been so good to me. When I was sixteen years old, I made the decision to come live with my mother in the United States. From an early age, I always liked to write. I always wrote a poem for Mother's Day and Father's Day. In November of 1993, I came to God and began to sing and write praise and worship songs. With God's help, I was able to record two CDs. In 1995, I wrote my sister's biography. She went to be with the Lord four years later, and in 2014 I had the privilege of publishing that book. The title of the book is La Ultima Palabra La Tiene Dios (God has the Last Word). In 2016, I wrote my first children's book, Cuando Llega La Nieve, When the Snow Comes.I want to say thank you to my two great friends, Amabilis Caraballo and Yolanda Lagos. Thank you to my personal photographer, my son Isaiah. And to my sons Nathan and Isaiah for giving me the inspiration to write this book. Thank you for all your help and God bless you.Mi nombre es Marlene M. Castaneda, nací en la bella ciudad de Bluefields, Nicaragua Centro América. Soy esposa, madre de seis hijos y maestra pre-escolar por veintiocho años. Le doy gracias a Dios por este nuevo proyectó que él me ha permitido escribir estoy muy agradecida con el por qué él ha sido bueno conmigo. A la edad de dieciséis años me vine a vivir con mi madre a los Estados Unidos. Desde muy temprana edad despertó mi gusto por escribir. Siempre recuerdo que para el día de las Madres y día del Padre les escribía poemas a mis padres. En el año mil novecientos noventa y tres conocí las cosas de Dios y de allí comencé a cantar y a escribir alabanza, con la ayuda de Dios, logre grabar dos CD de alabanzas, en el dos mil catorce público en memoria de mi hermana La Última Palabra La tiene Dios, biografía de su vida. Mas que agradecida por este don que Dios me ha regalado. En 2016, escribí mi primer libro para niños, Cuando Llega La Nieve, When the Snow Comes.Agradezco también a mis dos grandes amigas Amabilis Caraballo y Yolanda Lagos, a mi fotógrafo personal mi hijo Isaías. Natán e Isaías, mis dos pequeños, mi inspiración para desarrollar este proyecto, gracias. A todas esas personas que de una forma u otra aportaron con su ayuda en este libro, Dios los bendiga siempre. Su amiga de siempre.
