Born and raised in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Marlene M. Cole holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Sierra Leone and a Master's degree in Maternal and Child Health from the University of South Florida. Growing up in a developing country where a lack of awareness surrounding reproductive health among youth ignited a passion to help young people understand and manage their expectations related to their reproductive health and she continues to look for ways to help underserved populations. A lover of music and nature, she lives in the US with her husband and three children.
