At a young age, Marylou began actively writing poetry. Writing a novel is more challenging than writing a poem. Novels have writing-length complex stories with extensive exploration of characters, themes, and settings, so she taught herself how to string sentences together into paragraphs and paragraphs into chapters. It takes patience and commitment, and she's incredibly determined and thrives under pressure until she succeeds. Her liking for writing thriller novels comes from the old cliché "What is forbidden becomes more attractive." Her mother was strict and forbade her children from watching thrillers and horror films, so Marylou and her sister would sneak out and go to the neighbor's house to watch scary movies. Despite particularly liking thrillers films and writings, Marylou is kind, compassionate and happy, and has been living a peaceful life in Massachusetts since 1990. She's the author of: Three Inch Nails; and Dot.
