A combination of 1.0 mgl-1 2, 4-D and 1.0 mgl-1 BAP exhibited 75.00% and 56.0% shoot direct regeneration from nodal segments and leaf segments, respectively. Nodal segments had 70% shoot regeneration via callus on medium with 2.0 mgl-1 BAP and 0.5 mg L-1 IBA + 0.2 mgl-1 GA3. Leaf segments and root tips had equal percentage (65.0) of shoot regeneration upon culture on medium with 2.0 mgl-1 BAP and 0.2 mgl-1 IAA.
