ME Hulme lives with her husband on a small farm in Manitoba where they raised their three children, who are now grown. She loves the peace and quiet the country life offers. The stories in Farmer Arnold's Barnyard began when she would tell her grandchildren stories before their naps. She credits the children's insightful questions with helping to shape the stories and make them real.
