Autorenporträt
Meagan Honigman, M.Sc.(A), S-LP(C) graduated from McGill University in 2017 with her Masters of Science (Applied) in Speech-Language Pathology. Since then, she has worked in both clinic and school settings with children and teens. Her clients have a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. Across settings and with her various clientele, books are one of Meagan's favourite tools to use in therapy as they are easily accessible, interactive, can be used in a variety of ways, and there is always something new to be discovered each time that a book is read and reread. Meagan is passionate about delivering engaging child-centered care. Her clinical practice philosophy is that collaborating with and empowering caregivers to support their children outside of sessions leads to the most meaningful progress. Cathy Krcevinac is a mother who is deeply committed to aiding her child in overcoming a speech and language delay. Seeing first-hand the struggles of children dealing with learning difficulties ignited Cathy's desire to find another way to help her own child and other children overcome their challenges. Through extensive research and personal experience, Cathy learned about the power of storytelling and its capacity to aid with speech development. She believes strongly in using this tool to its fullest potential and hopes that it can be used to help your little ones just as it has with her own!
