Melany Hirsch lives in Brookline, Massachusetts with her mother, her father and her dog, Maddy. This is her first book, as she is only ten. She hopes to write sequels, including Isabella and Alexandra's Story. Melany is also thinking of ideas for a new book that will be called We're the Bosses.
