"O Sing unto the Lord a New Song: sing unto the lord, all the earth." Psalms 96:1 From a personal testimony of the heart, through the ups and downs of every season of life, I Want to Sing Your Song is a personal prayer. It is a spiritual expression identifying the seasons and cares of this life which exemplifies the need to sing the Lord's song. Standing on His promises and His word, this is your time to enter that secret place. It is a quiet haven and a moment away from your cares, while you sit at Jesus' feet and He expresses His love back to you. Through the Holy Spirit, God knows how to soothe the spirit. He has a unique way of speaking to us through songs and hymns of the soul. A collection of verses (poems) combined with a responsive melody each day serves to enlighten your mind, heart and soul. Imagine, the essence of Jehovah's presence embraces you in a realm of praise. The cares of this life fade away and there is a sound from Heaven nurturing your soul. Your heavenly father beckons for you to "just be with him" and a song from the heavens melts your heart. I Want to Sing Your Song can be your prayer. Your song for the long days. Your song for the hard times. Your song through the lonely nights. Your song through the guilt and mistakes. This can be your devotion, a time of communion as you sing to the Lord your new song. Wherever you are with your walk with God you can start with a melody. You can start here.
