Breast cancer (BC) is emerging as a major health problem in Sudan and can be categorized as a leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women. The purpose of this study is to determine the current status of breast cancer chemo-hormonal therapy among Sudanese, using prospective and retrospective studies, to assess the use and outcomes of tamoxifen and anthracyclines, to determine the relation between the HER-2 +ve and poor prognosis among BC patients, and to investigate the tamoxifen failure association-gene in BC patients and to determine if, possible the polymorphisms phenomenon that contribute to reduce the enzyme activity as suggested resistance mechanism. The findings of the current study revealed that, the majority of patients were middle aged, with normal body mass indices, having Infiltering ductal carcinoma diagnosed at advance stage, with -ve family history and possess either ER + ve or PR + ve, whilst when correlated with age the majority have -ve family history. Theresearch must be conducted to define the exact main cause of the most frequently reported cancer type, governmental survey and awareness programs should be conducted for early discovery of breast cancer.
