One of his specialties has been drawing birds to his backyard, and photographing them. Over the years, Mickey has learned many tricks which have produced first class photos. Thousands of his bird shots have been downloaded from photo websites, such as Pixabay. Many have been used in blogs, websites, and publications. Other photos have received recognition from the Shiloh Eagle Watchers and Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Most of his photos have just been enjoyed by family and friends.
