Michaels spiritual quest began around his 30th birthday in 1992. In about 2007 his quest accelerated towards what would ultimately redefine his self-identity and understanding of spirituality. He describes an absolute compulsion to seek what he didn't understand and talks about a lifetime of presumed miracles that couldn't be ignored any longer. As a result, his quest for truth became an obsession that took on many forms for nearly twenty-five years.
