It embraces waste avoidance and minimization methods, reuse and recycling programs, collection of refuse, treatment methods and safe disposal. The result and recommendations of the study will stimulate actions towards sustainable and integrated MunicipalSolid Waste Management in cities of developing countries. It will also contribute significantly towards current MSWM policy review, formation and implementation so as make cities more habitable.
