After a four-year career of being the CEO of AMN Industries, Ali has come to a point in her life to either stay where she is with her company or pursue her dream of teaching. She calls a meeting with the board of directors, giving her CEO position to her best friend Minda. Not remembering, Neala has to leave the government position, but as a private citizen with her own company, she can remain as Ali's bodyguard. Word soon spreads around town that a drug dealer is looking for someone to make his cheap street drugs. Neala knows that she must stay vigilant in order to protect Ali. In order to teach, Ali must have the proper documentation and pass a teacher's exam for qualification. As soon as students find out she will be teaching, it doesn't take long for them to fill up the room. Ali's day was going well until Neala leaves to use the lady's room and does not return. Ali becomes worried and goes to check up on her. As she opens the door, she sees Neala lying face down on the floor. Ali's first step in, she hears a sizzle and then nothing. What happened to Ali and Neala? What happened to Ali's baby sister is heartbreaking. Ali had to witness her death. Ali had found a place for sale to start a school, but the Mayon Volcano erupted. What happened to Ali's plans about teaching? Right now, it leaves Ali down and out. With Father Bryon guiding her, he helps Ali and a miracle does take place at a children's home where Ali will be teaching students who are just like her.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
After nearly thirty years of listening to audio books while driving a territory, the written word became something that I found enjoyable to read or to listen too. The stories that were being told over the speakers spoke about different cultures, places, the good times and the bad. My imagination was on fire as a scene played out.I now challenge myself with every book that I write to bring out a vision that only a good story can tell.Being married to a Filipina woman, I only knew about their culture from talking to her or the local Filipino organization in our area. When an opportunity came our way to travel to the Philippines for a vacation, I was all for it.Meeting folks half way around the world, I felt as though I knew them my whole life. I saw firsthand how proud the Filipinos are. They worked relentless amounts of hours on their jobs so they can provide for their families. Using my camera, I was able to capture many different aspects of their lives. Returning home, I reviewed my images. I saw a story come to life. For that, I am truly grateful to see and to be part of another culture on our planet.
