Michael J. Ruszala was a regular altar server as a boy. He now works in church ministry, having served over five years as a parish faith formation director and then as a parish music director. Michael holds a master's degree in Theology and Christian Ministry and a bachelor's degree in philosophy and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. The author of several religious books, Michael is an adjunct university lecturer in religious studies and enjoys directing the children's choir at his parish.
