Who does not love cartoons? Everyone has their own favorite cartoon. It all started with an episode of The Simpsons opening credits where Homer Simpson was evolving from a unicellular organism to a complex human being. Entertaining and Educational are two descriptions always integrated in every teaching strategy I used in teaching Science. On this scientific study, it correlates the use of media cartoons as a form of visual medium in helping students understand environmental concepts. Science skills are developed as students interpret and analyze concepts conveyed in the media cartoons.
