Danny Wuerffel was one of the greatest players in Florida football history. In 1996 he won the Heisman Trophy while leading the Gators to the national championship. During his four-year career, Wuerffel also led Florida to four SEC titles and two national championship games. He is also the only Heisman recipient to also receive the Draddy Scholarship Trophy, which is presented by the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame to the nation's top football scholar-athlete.Mike Bianchi is an award-winning columnist for the Orlando Sentinel. Bianchi is a University of Florida graduate who worked for the Gainesville Sun and the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville before moving to the Orlando Sentinel. He cohosts a daily sports talk radio show in Orlando each morning and also takes part in a statewide TV sports talk show on the Sunshine Network.Steve Spurrier is the head coach of the Gamecocks football team at the University of South Carolina. He served as the Gators quarterback at the University of Florida from 1964 to 1966, earning All-American honors and the UPI Player of the Year Award. In 1966, Spurrier was awarded the Heisman Trophy. After graduating college, Spurrier spent nine years in the NFL before embarking on a remarkable college coaching career. In 1986 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
