I grew up in Mason, MI. 10 miles south of Lansing, MI. I was a pretty wild and crazy guy as a teen. I was in a car accident when I was 17 that changed the direction of my life somewhat, but the key thing it did was caused me to become aware of the God print in my life. I wish I could say everything changed, but that would not be true. Lets just say that is where my journey began. The journey of discovery God and who I am.

I am married to my beautiful wife, JoAnn of 15 years. I have three awesome children, Michael 24, Paul 21 and Isabelle 18.They are currently in three different colleges. I have wonderful parents. Paul (Skip) and Merna Mudgett who have been married 62 years. My brother Paul and his wife, Faye live in Waterford, MI. My sister, Kathy, who lives in Mason. My brother Duncan who died at 46 years old. A wonderful family heritage.

I attend Central Bible College in Springfield, MO from 1984-1987. I did some ministry for a short time in Thedford, NE. Then in 1988-1997 planted a church in Rockford, Mi. Then I left the ministry and went into sales and started my Masters in Counseling. I completed Masters program at Spring Arbor University in 2004. I worked for Catholic Charities WM from 2005-2010. The state cut funding and Catholic Charities lost the contract, so we lost our jobs.

All during my life's journey I had been writing thoughts, ideas, concepts and as time past they began to form a workbook. My life has had some curves and as I began to write from those crazy and transitional times those ideas began to take the shape of a book.A personal book not a corporate or couples book but a personal spiritual journey book entitled. When Two Worlds Collide.
Along with being an author, I am currently ordained under the Faith Christian Fellowship International. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan. I have a private practice under Psychological Diagnostic treatment Center located at 3800 Heritage ave Okemos, MI. I provide therapy for individuals, couples and families. It has been an exciting journey.
