Today in the era of digitalization where everything is getting digitalized, every information is digitally available, government agencies are transforming into digital enterprise there is need to transform the most important system for any Indian citizen i.e. Voting System. And hence this project comes into existence. Fingerprint based voting system is a desktop application with fingerprint recognizer. The purpose of this system is to reduce manpower, save time increase efficiency and reliability of the system. Authentication of the system is met through matching fingerprint with an already stored image in the database. Also the voter's data will be stored in database in encrypted form for the sake of security. Whole and soul of the system is an admin who would be responsible for registering voters, managing voter id and authenticating voters. Adhaar id is used as a unique key to distinguish each and every voter at the time of registration. Election result could be viewed by admin and election commissioner after the completion of election gets approval and forwarded to main center for further processing.
