Autorenporträt
Mimi Wellisch was born in Hungary a few years after World War II. Her mother was a survivor of Auschwitz and Buchenwald. As a 7-year old Mimi fled to Denmark with her parents during the Hungarian Revolution. There, she attended school and met the love of her life at the age of 15. The relationship was interrupted when her parents decided to migrate to Australia where she soon met her first husband. Years later, on a trip back to Denmark, Mimi met up with her childhood sweetheart again. Her memoir is about their passionate, tempestuous and enduring love.
