This book analyzes the entire industry from quarry all the way down to the actual production and marketing of the marble products in Afghanistan and suggests to the investors innovative approaches that would increase the productivity and competitive position of the Afghan marble. The focus point of the analysis is competitiveness . It consists of a brief review of the relevant literature, the industry productivity in compare with the concerned neighboring countries; the marble market trend worldwide as well as in-country; and the analysis of the overall marble situation. The study draws conclusion along with recommendations for the relevant players on the ground.
