Mira Simonides was born in 2005 in Graz and has practically been writing ever since she has been able to hold a pen in her hand. In 2021 her short story made it into the top twelve of the "Bachmann Junior Preis Hermagor". Her fascination with the fantasy genre has also accompanied her through the majority of her childhood and teenage years, given that she is a passionate reader. Additionally, through her ongoing English and American Studies she is now able to deepen her long-standing affection for the English language. In her debut novel "Cyphers of the Woods" she links a fantasy world with personal pictures from her countless forest walks.
