This book discuss the basics consideration in determining the organizational design of local government apparatus in Indonesia, from the perspective of regulations and theories by considering the empirical conditions and needs of the provinces, regencies, and cities in the future. This book also contains a description of the mapping of government affairs, as the authority of the local governments in Indonesia. I know that this book is not flawless. Therefore, suggestions are desirable as to improve this book. I hope that this book can be an objective, scientific, and rational consideration in determining the organizational design of local government apparatus.
