O Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad permaneceu como estudante escolar durante o curso de B.Sc. e M.Sc. em GBPUAT Pantnagar. Tinha recebido o seu doutoramento pela SKNAU Jobner, Índia e foi bolseiro do ICAR-SRF.
