Different spinning techniques have been established to spin the fibres into yarn. However, every type of yarn has its own particular characteristics. I am working as faculty member in the Department of Fibre and Textile Technology for the last 26 years. I have supervised more than 50 students in their research and thesis and have more than 80 publications in many national and international research journals.
