In this monograph, the results of the author's research on the characteristics of cocoon threads grown in artificial bunches under the film and the factors affecting the production of quality raw silk and the creation of a new structured braided surgical thread production technology are presented. The monograph shows the innovations achieved: for the first time, the established parameters and technology for the production of "A" quality raw silk from living cocoons were created; the value of adhesion strength of cocoon thread in living cocoons was found on a theoretical basis and confirmed by experiment, the coefficient representing it was determined and recommended to be taken into account when selecting the spinning speed in the production of high-quality raw silk. The monograph is intended for researchers conducting scientific research in the field of textile technology and engineers and technicians in production.
