For instance, scholarships are granted each year to Burkinabe youth to give them a chance to get quality higher education as part of the cooperation agreements. It is in this context, that the research carried out in this book intends to examine the relationship between the Republic of China (R.O.C.) and Burkina Faso, looking into what exactly both countries' citizens(students specifically) know of the relationship and consider which medium has contributed the most to their level of knowledge. Therefore, considering the results of the study, this book is to be suggested to political leaders, university students, media workers and anyone in both countries interested to know a little more about and to foster Taiwan and Burkina Faso relationship, and willing to help solve some of the obstacles met in this research.

Born in Feb. 18,1980 in Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso, country located in West Africa, Natacha J. Nadege DAYAMBA went for studies in Taiwan (the Republic of China). There,she successfully defended her Master's thesis about the two countries' cooperation, obtaining her degree after three years far from her two daughters Akila and Christelle.
