Most Bible readers can relate with the good intentions of starting a Bible-in-a-year program. Things generally go well for a few weeks until, well...the book of Leviticus. A few missed days can easily become a missed week, then two, then three. By the month of April, many people give up. The struggle to read through the Bible as a whole leaves many readers lacking confidence in their understanding of the overarching narrative. What significance does each book have? What role does Jesus play? Does the Old Testament contradict the New Testament? Is God really the same throughout it all? HIStory in 30 Weeks is an in-depth overview of the Bible that offers readers the opportunity to inductively study the key aspects of the story of redemption as revealed from Genesis to Revelation. The "read and observe" approach helps you uncover the key messages of Scripture first-hand, and then apply the timeless truths to your own life. As you move through the study, you'll have the chance to read portions from each of the 66 books of the Bible. As familiarity breeds more confidence, you can feel assured in not only what you believe, but why you believe it.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Carole O. Schryber Carole Schryber was an attorney in New York who gave up the practice of law to devote herself to studying and teaching Scripture. She has used her research and analytical skills from the study of law for inductive Bible study. For the past fifteen years she has been a Christian teacher, speaker, and writer. Her talk, Genesis to Revelation in 60 Minutes, was the impetus for a devotional book she authored, HIStory in 30 Days: Genesis to Revelation. In addition to speaking and teaching at her home church of McLean Bible and other area churches she authors a weekly blog. She is a wife and mother of three grown children. Natalie Walkley Natalie Walkley is a wife, mother, and lover of good stories. Natalie fell in love with God's Word through the inductive Bible study approach and realizing that the "ah-ha" moments with Scripture are not reserved just for pastors and theologians. After starting her career in a year-long ministry development program at McLean Bible Church she has since been writing and leading Bible studies for the past decade. She currently leads a women's group study at her home church, The Village Chapel, where she focuses on inspiring a passion for Scripture, and empowering others to garner God's timeless truths for themselves through inductive study. Natalie and her family live in Nashville, Tennessee.
