This monography demonstrates the need for a thorough study of a gum as an organ, which will enable more accurate distinguishing between normal and pathological condition on the stage of objective examination of periodontal patients that will permit to detect the early stages of risk among this age group of multifactorial diseases of gums. Thus, thorough study of histological structure of gum in normal condition and during inflammatory diseases is extremely important, has theoretical and clinical significance and contributes greatly to society and as well to dentistry in particular.
