The present study was conducted to elucidate the effects of River Rafting on the adjoining forest, wild life and economic growth in context to government and local inhabitants from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh stretch of Ganga in Uttarakhand. The study has largely relied on primary survey (floral study, wild life and economic growth) and secondary data collected from different government departments. In all instances, both primary and secondary data sources were used in various analysis. The results and analysis revelve that under the grab of white water rafting the less disturbed area in Uttarkhand has also come under the threat of human desire. The dominant trees species of the study area were Acacia catechu, Anogessius latifolia, Bauhinia vahli, Bombax ceiba, Ficus religosa, Shorea robusta, Holoptelia integrifolia, Toona ciliata. Volume Analysis of different transects in the study area reveal that the quantity of wood volume is inversely proportional to number of tourist at most of the rafting sites.
