This study demonstrates the techniques of achieving sustainability in the construction industry focusing on waste utilisation by re-use and recycling. Construction sector can be a potential consumer of these waste materials by incorporating them in building material. This dissertation summarises the implementation of multiple binder mix comprising industrial waste such as PFA, GGBS, WSA and minimal amount of PC is investigated to manufacture cost-effective and environment friendly concrete blocks and bricks using other waste material as aggregates such as Quarry Dust , Brick Dust and Filter cake powder. To achieve this purpose, three mixes of binder: aggregate ratio consisting 1:5, 1:8, 1:15 were chosen at various moisture content and Quarry dust was selected as target material.According to the test, It was concluded that multiple binder mix can be an excellent alternative of traditional binders on the basis of performance and cost- effectiveness. This report also initiated the utilisation of 50:50 mixtures of Brick Dust and Filter Cake Powder in accordance with multiple binders for manufacturing BDFC bricks.
