A plethora of research has highlighted the lowest political participation and representation in various times and places and outlined that women has always been lagging behind in political arena in relation to their male counterpart. Political participation of women has been recorded lowest both in term of numerical strength and also lagging in achieving the top ladder in the political sphere. Likewise, political participation of women in Pakistan has been remained very low however women from certain quarter have made some significant contribution in the political spheres. But it has been reported that these women are not representing the entire of women population in the country and their participation is attributed only to a specific class, region, tribe or family background. In this regard, women political participation has always been looked upon from a critical vantage point and it has been reported that only few women have achieved the status to be the representative in politics but majority of women have even no right to cast a vote in the favor of their candidate.
